My GCSE Art Coursework ǀ Natural Forms

At high school there really wasn't a single subject that I could say I loathed. In every single class there would be someone there that could make me laugh and if there was one lesson that I could always be relied up on to say that I enjoyed it, it would definitely have been art. In theory art is a very easy subject, it is something that only requires time and practice. At my school at least, it was a very calm and enjoyable lesson. I think the one thing I would say if you decided to take this subject is to make sure that you complete all coursework to a high standard on your first time round and don't fall behind. It stopped being so easy when I had a week before GCSE exams started and I still hadn't finished my coursework, let alone considered revising.

Despite all of this, it is still a subject I would recommend doing. Just look at your school's art work and see if it inspires you first. There were three projects and an exam that I had to do to a certain standard in order to get an A*. This was the first one: Natural Forms. I am glad that I did all of this, it gives me a lot to be proud of and has also helped me to improve greatly. Even though I would have approached each project differently looking back, I am still so happy with all I achieved over the two year course.
